Beatrice Black Bear
Beatrice Black Bear is the intrepid bear photographer for Click, a science and exploration magazine for children ages 3 to 7, published by Carus Publishing, who also publish Cricket and other magazines. Beatrice appears on the back of each issue in a feature written by John Grandits and illustrated by yours truly. Her wide-ranging beat includes the role of bacteria in food, exploration of the ocean depths, exploration of the moon, water skiing, housekeeping, teeth, kudzu, demolition, and other related topics.
